Wedge anchor bolt, also known as turning gecko anchor, is a heavy-duty mechanical expansion anchoring fastener designed for concrete, brick and stone base fixing. It adopts a cylindrical threaded body paired with matched lock nuts to complete rigid fastening. The bottom end features a flared or toothed wedge expansion structure, which is the core locking component: when the top nut is tightened, the wedge head pulls upward to expand the outer sleeve tightly against the inner wall of the pre-drilled hole, creating powerful mechanical friction and interlock for permanent anchoring. Classified by load bearing purpose, it covers tension-resistant, shear-resistant and anchor plate types to fit diverse engineering load requirements. Made of premium carbon steel and alloy steel, it delivers high tensile strength, anti-pullout performance and long-term structural stability for construction and industrial mounting.
