A galvanized screw bar is a precision mechanical component with a galvanized surface, mainly used to convert rotary motion into linear motion. It consists of a rod with a continuous thread and a matching nut, and precise position control is achieved by the movement of the nut on the screw. The zinc coating provides the screw with excellent protection against corrosion. In wet environments with corrosive media, the galvanized layer acts as a sacrificial anode and is preferentially corroded, thus protecting the steel inside the screw from damage. This enables galvanized wire bars to work stably for long periods of time in environments prone to corrosion, such as outdoor equipment and chemical equipment. For example, in a dock crane by the sea, a galvanized wire bar can effectively resist the erosion of seawater and salt spray, extending the service life of the equipment. When galvanized wire bar is matched with other parts, its galvanized layer generally does not adversely affect the matching parts. In the assembly process, the galvanized layer can play a certain lubricating effect, reduce the friction between the threads, and improve the assembly efficiency. Moreover, the presence of the galvanized layer will not affect the matching accuracy between the screw and the nut, bearing and other components, ensuring the stable operation of the whole mechanical system.
