Disc Lock Washer

Disc lock washers usually contain sharp edges that can be embedded in the material of the nut or connector, or use the double-sided wedge-locking principle to provide a strong resistance to movement of the nut. It usually has a special locking structure on the edge portion or on one side of the surface. After many compression and release cycles, the disc lock washer remains resilient. This design is particularly effective in vibration-prone environments, where it maintains tightness and prevents the nut from loosening. Its common application scenarios include machinery and equipment, automotive, aerospace and other fields, especially where vibration resistance is required.

In equipment connections that require frequent disassembly and reassembly, such as some adjustable machine tool connections, the resilience of disc lock washers ensures that they will retain their tightness even after repeated use. Even in the case of long-term pressure, as long as the pressure does not exceed its elastic limit, the washer in the pressure after the release can be restored to near-original state, and continue to provide reliable locking security for the next use.
